FEDARENE members shortlisted among finalists for 2026 EUSEW Awards
FEDARENE announced that two of its members have been shortlisted as finalists in the 2026 European Sustainable Energy Awards (EUSEW Awards).
Main announcement:Energy Agency of Plovdiv (EAP) is a finalist in Local Energy Action for the MultiHome Service Hub and Platform (developed with the Municipality of Plovdiv and supported by the EU LIFE programme). Key facts: launched in 2024, >250 homeowner consultations, >125 complementary renovation services, 22 multi-family buildings progressing to renovation, expected >60% reduction in energy consumption and CO₂ for renovated buildings, benefiting nearly 1,900 households.
Second announcement and event details:Donna Gartland, CEO of Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency, is a finalist in Women in Energy for leadership including Ireland’s first large-scale district heating scheme reusing waste heat from local data centers (expected ~1,500 tonnes CO₂ reduction annually) and workplace policies (four-day week; gender-neutral family leave; workforce 53% women, 58% women in senior leadership).
